Alumni Veterans Monument Project
The Pennsauken Board of Education approved to set aside a section of the grounds of Pennsauken High School for a wonderful project that is the dream of a group of very dedicated alumni. Mike Panarella (Class of 1968), Ralph Roesler (Class of 1970), Bob Zucchi (Class of 1963), Tom Piersanti (Class of 1964), and Pete DiAntonio (Class of 1968) are leading this tremendous project. It is a true community project that honors the town, the school, and our veterans.
Plans are under way for this worthwhile project to honor our alumni who have served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition, there will be a memorial to honor any Pennsauken resident who has given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This monument will honor our veterans - past, present and future. A paver project is also planned. Pavers may be purchased in honor of any Pennsauken resident that has served in our U.S. Armed Forces. More information on the pavers will be posted when plans are finalized.
The Veteran's Monument will be dedicated in a formal ceremony with plans for student and community participation. The dedication will be on October 13, 2016.

How can you donate?
This community project will be totally funded through donations. The BOE will incur no cost but will be the custodian of the funds. Any donation of any amount will be appreciated.
